Navigating Thinking Traps and Limiting Thinking
Our thinking is powerful.  It determines how we view, interpret, and respond to everything. Have you noticed that your mind is constantly "narrating" what's going on around you, judging and assessing everything you see? Telling stories to make sense of things.
​Did you know that research shows that we think around 70-80 THOUSAND thoughts per day?  Our thinking is so habitual that we tend to accept it as truth, as "who we are".  But it's really not.  

​Much of what we think is automatic and habitual, programs from our past. For that reason, it is important to understand our thinking so that it no longer negatively affects our lives and holds us back from our true potential.

​Here are a few ways to deal with your thinking in a constructive way:
  • Practice mindfulness​ and radical acceptance
  • Commit to understanding the workings of your mind so that you can see thoughts for what they really are - experiences passing through
  • Develop a deeper level of self-awareness
  • Practice noticing the deeper quiet that lies beneath the unending stream of thinking​

Navigating some significant challenges in my life took me to a deep place where I could learn more about myself, life, and the people and world around me.  I'm so grateful that, through coaching, I get to share what I've learned with others, while helping them to make sense of their own life experience.

Like so many others, I know what it's like to feel anxious, and hopeless, lost and defeated.  And I also know what it's like to feel energized, excited, and inspired! I've come to know on a deep level that the latter is our true nature.  But it it is often covered up by our limiting beliefs, destructive thinking patterns, unconscious emotional reactions, habits, and more.

I've spent the last 15 years working with people, helping them to grow in self-awareness, uncover their full potential, and  create lives that are full, engaged, and meaningful.  It is always so rewarding to watch clients reach powerful new insights around what they are capable of!
