Gaining Control Over Habits

Picture
Core-level Coaching can set you on a path towards taking control of the habitual patterns in your life that are holding you back or causing you harm.
Do you recognize any of these patterns:
scrolling/spending time online, shopping, over-eating, smoking, drinking alcohol, binge-watching, arguing, worrying, shutting down?
Those are just a few of the many patterns we fall into. Whether you realize it or not, our objective is always the same:

Feel Better Immediately
Habitual patterns aren't just what you DO; they are also how you think and feel about things, which also happen on autopilot.
Your habitual patterns are a way of avoiding discomfort.

More on Habits...

Do you have a tendency to judge yourself for falling into habitual ways of being that you know, deep down, are negative, harmful, or unhelpful?

Many of our habits formed because initially they helped us to avoid discomfort. In some way, they made us feel better, if only momentarily.

Typically, we have a natural inclination to avoid distressing emotions.

That's where habits come in. The urge to do a habit happens so quickly that we mistakenly believe that it is beyond our control. But, it's not.

Once you learn to navigate your emotional experience with more ease and equilibrium, you will start to see your habitual patterns from a whole new perspective - one in which you have more control and a deeper level of understanding.

Through Coaching, you will be guided + supported in:

Deepening your understanding around what is driving your habitual patterns

Mindfully working with what you are feeling, building emotional self-awareness

Making positive changes to your self-talk and core beliefs

Working to change patterns of reactivity (i.e., defensiveness, withdrawing, feeling victimized, etc.)

Developing a deeper sense of calm + connection

Feedback from Coaching Clients
My biggest take-away so far is that my mind has a mind of its own! I'm starting to understand why I have the patterns I do in my life. It's feeling good to practice things that actually make me feel peaceful. (T.O., 52)
I've been to therapy, which helped at the time. But this feels different, like I've made changes that will allow me to handle challenging experiences now and in the future. Instead of feeling "helped" I felt mentored and guided in helping myself. (Charlotte N., 33)
Having the online modules has been so helpful. I feel like I'm learning so much that I can apply directly to what's going on with me. Being able to come to session knowing I can talk it all through makes it a seamless process. I really feel like emotionally, I'm the best I've ever been! (Peter V, 26)
I have learned so much about myself throughout this experience. I didn't realize how critical I was being about myself. The self-compassion exercises and understanding more about my self-talk has helped me understand how my behaviors and beliefs have been holding me back. This has really changed so much for me - thank you! (Sara, 46)
In my work with Bobbi, my perspective has started to change. I am focusing on the things I can control and letting go of the rest. I always called myself a "worrier", but I don't put that label on myself anymore. I can understand better now how my emotions are impacting me, but that I don't have to get taken over by them. (Kelly, 34)
