Managing Challenging Thinking

Did you know that your thoughts directly impact your emotions, behaviors, and overall experience of life?  Want to learn how to manage your thoughts so that they're working for you instead of against you? Would you like to live more fully in the present moment, rather than stuck in the past or worrying about the future?  

We have anywhere from 60-80 THOUSAND thoughts per day.  For many people, their thinking is so deeply unconscious and habitual that they see no separation between who they are and the thoughts they are thinking.  They get caught up and swept away by their thinking - so much so that they truly spend very little time in the present moment.  Living this way can stress you out, damage your physical health, and disconnect you from yourself, others, and the world around you.  For that reason, it is important to notice, recognize, and work with our thinking, so that it no longer negatively affects our lives or holds us back from achieving our full potential.

"I'm constantly analyzing every interaction I have with someone" , "I couldn't sleep - my mind just wouldn't stop!", "I'm so self-critical; I say terrible things to myself sometimes."  "What if I fail?"  "Just when I was making a positive change, I ended up self-sabotaging everything!"  These examples could go on and on - our thoughts dictate our reality, having a huge impact on every single aspect of our lives.

Change is possible when you can learn to understand and manage your thoughts, overcome thinking traps, and befriend your critical inner voice, all while reducing stress, and mindfully embracing your present-moment experience.

This program is for you if you'd like to:
  • explore and better understand the impact of your thinking patterns and the thinking traps we all fall into at times (i.e. catastrophizing, all-or-nothing thinking, etc.)
  • explore critical self-talk and it's impact on self-esteem and confidence
  • understand and challenge the "stories" you mind tells you, based on limiting beliefs formed through childhood conditioning (i.e. "I'm not good enough." "I can't...", etc.)
  • get to the core of what’s been holding you back and develop strategies to gain control over your thinking
  • establish a mindfulness practice to increase self-awareness and feel more connected, calm, and engaged with the people and world around you​
