Emotional mastery means becoming consciously aware of your emotions, being able to recognize and name them, understand their meaning and see where they come from, and then handle them in a calm, confident, and constructive way.
How often do you feel: reactive, in your head, zoned out, disconnected, irritable, worried, spiteful, numb, or just generally pissed off?

But it is these states of mind, along with aspects like courageousness, confidence, playfulness, and more that are at your core – that make up your True Nature.
This core Self gets covered over by childhood conditioning, where we all learned beliefs about ourselves, other people, and the world surrounding us. Beliefs that are not only NOT true in many cases, but can also be limiting, demoralizing, and destructive, holding us back as adults. |
