I can relate! I realized over time that I was using technology to "zone" out, to shut down the difficult thinking and uncomfortable emotions that were coming up. It's an easy pattern to fall into when you consider that we are practically buried in media of all sorts.


It becomes a problem when it leaves no energy or attention to focus on aspects of our lives where we can experience positive emotions, like authentic joy, peace of mind, enthusiasm, creativity, inspiration, and playfulness. 

Program Objectives

Uncover Patterns

Because so many of our habits are automatic and originate from the subconscious, they lie below our conscious level of awareness.

In session, we will take the mystery out of the urges and thinking patterns that go along with your habits by exploring what's going on in the mind. 

​We will look at identifying the thinking traps and mindsets that are holding you back and keeping you stuck.

This Program provides the tools to work with your habits that don't involve will-power or rigid action plans.

Practice Emotion Regulation

Typically, at the root of our tendency to numb and "zone out" is an attempt to "feel better". 

At a certain point, your mind attached to numbing as being helpful in changing how you felt in the moment.

For something to become a habit, at one point, it HAD to be helpful to you. It's just that, over time, it can be limiting and destructive as it becomes more and more entrenched.


The part of your mind that is sending the urges and encouraging you to fall into the habit of numbing doesn't (and can't) know the difference. But, another part of you does and it's that part that we'll work on strengthening.

Create Mindfulness Practices

Once you have a deeper understanding of what's going on with your mind and emotions, we'll shift to exploring ways of intentionally creating meaning, and finding purpose + passion in your life.

We will investigate the aspects of our lives that make us feel good, that feel like they promote our overall well-being and peace of mind. And we'll do it all through the lens of mindful awareness.

By the end of this Program, you will have more clarity around positive changes you would like to make in your life. And you'll have tools to reach for them!


What Makes This Program Unique:

Typically, time in-session is spent explaining new concepts and strategies, leaving less time to discuss how to relate and apply them to your specific life situation.

This Program has a comprehensive online component. Between sessions, you will gain access to a series of online folders containing written resources, videos, guided exercises, worksheets, and more.

Having this additional element allows you to process new information, make connections, and start applying and practicing things before coming to session.

Time in-session can then be spent more experientially, allowing you to gain insight and deepen understanding, learn new skills, and practice applying new approaches.

Six 60-minute 1:1 coaching sessions, by video or phone call

*option for in-person coaching for local clients, following first session
*scheduled at your convenience with day, evening, and weekend sessions

Online resources: videos, guided exercises, e-worksheets, and more

*clients benefit most when they invest time between sessions exploring new topics and practicing strategies, directly applying what they're learning in-session

Email engagement between sessions

*you are encouraged to ask questions and request clarification to help you best apply and practice new strategies + approaches
