Do you find yourself:Feeling like you go "down the rabbit hole" when it comes to social media?Mindlessly scrolling the internet, without remembering what you've looked at?"Binge watching" a series more often than you'd like?Getting lost in videos on topics you didn't consciously choose to watch?Automatically reaching for your phone, with no real purpose?I can relate! I realized over time that I was using technology to "zone" out, to shut down the difficult thinking and uncomfortable emotions that were coming up. It's an easy pattern to fall into when you consider that we are practically buried in media of all sorts.It becomes a problem when it leaves no energy or attention to focus on aspects of our lives where we can experience positive emotions, like authentic joy, peace of mind, enthusiasm, creativity, inspiration, and playfulness. |

Uncover Patterns
Because so many of our habits are automatic and originate from the subconscious, they lie below our conscious level of awareness.
In session, we will take the mystery out of the urges and thinking patterns that go along with your habits by exploring what's going on in the mind. We will look at identifying the thinking traps and mindsets that are holding you back and keeping you stuck. This Program provides the tools to work with your habits that don't involve will-power or rigid action plans. |
Practice Emotion Regulation
Typically, at the root of our tendency to numb and "zone out" is an attempt to "feel better".
At a certain point, your mind attached to numbing as being helpful in changing how you felt in the moment. For something to become a habit, at one point, it HAD to be helpful to you. It's just that, over time, it can be limiting and destructive as it becomes more and more entrenched. The part of your mind that is sending the urges and encouraging you to fall into the habit of numbing doesn't (and can't) know the difference. But, another part of you does and it's that part that we'll work on strengthening. |

We will investigate the aspects of our lives that make us feel good, that feel like they promote our overall well-being and peace of mind. And we'll do it all through the lens of mindful awareness. By the end of this Program, you will have more clarity around positive changes you would like to make in your life. And you'll have tools to reach for them! |
